The cardinal objective of the organization is to uphold its core values of regional cooperation and peace through education, cultural interaction, sustainable development as well as to promote a South Asian common currency as the anchor of economic stability. | SAF has been recognized as an Apex Body of South Asian Association of Regional Cooperation (SAARC).
