"UMSAILS Welcomes 2024 Cohort: Diverse Scholars Embark on Journey of South Asian Law and Human Rights"

News UMSAILS, Bangladesh - 21st March 2024

UMSAILS has started its academic activities for 2024. This year we have received 4 students from SAARC Countries. Following are their details:-
1. Mr. Sagar Adhikari (Nepal)
2. Ms. Supriya Konal (Nepal)
3. Ms. Monira Garjhistani (Afghanistan)
4. Mr. Asif Ahmed Dar (India)
All 4 scholars have joined the classes for their one-year-long MA programme in South Asian Law and Human Rights at the University of Asia Pacific (UAP). SAILS organized an orientation programme for the class on 12th February where The SAILS board Chairperson and veteran lawyer Dr Kamal Hossain, The Emeritus Chairperson, SAF-Bangladesh joined as the chief guest. Senior Advocate of Bangladesh Supreme Court Barrister Sara Hossain has also attended the programme. SAILS has arranged the accommodation for all scholars according to the plan and they are now accustomed to the environment, as I have been informed by them during my several discussions with them.
