The centre is being established in what was originally a church before becoming the old gymnasium in what is actually a heritage building within the College compound. Like all other SAF institutes of excellence, SAF group scholarship programme would help in forging and promoting interaction among research scholars from the SAARC countries.Government College University would also consider conferring diplomas and degrees to students in diverse courses relating to South Asian studies. | |
