On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the destruction of the Buddha statues in the Bamiyan Valley, Afghanistan.

The forum was organized by the UNESCO World Heritage Centre in collaboration with the Permanent Delegation of Afghanistan and attended by Sayed Makhdoom Raheen, minister of Youth, Culture and Information in the Afghan Government and Sayed Mossadiq Khalili Director of the UNESCO Madanjeet Singh Cultural Heritage Preservation Institute in Kabul.

After the conference, Sayed Mossadiq Khalili Director of the UNESCO Madanjeet Singh Cultural Heritage Preservation Institute in Kabul, paid a courtesy visit to UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Madanjeet Singh to brief him about the new projects of the Institute in Kabul on Beaulieu-sur-Mer, France.
