From Hanifa Alizada former SAF Madanjeet Sholarship recipient at UNESCO Madanjeet Singh Institute for South Asian Arts BNU, Lahore Pakistan

I would like to tell you about my current activities Kabul university is open after a long cold winter and I am given three elective photography courses for second year theater and cinema, third year graphic and fine arts, and second year photography. Working with Father of Photography of Afghanistan Najibullah Musafer who was the first painting teacher of Sher Ali, and making curriculum for photography classes has been a great experience for me this winter.

At 3rdeye Photojournalism Center, I have been working with Musafer and Basir Seerat the Filmmaker for the establishment of a photography Department within School of Arts of KAbul University.I am not sure if you know about the proposal that we have offered to Mr. Madangeet Singh for sponsoring it. He was so interested to follow up with us but unfortunately time didnt let us. We have taken the project further, SDC and many other organizations promised for sponsorship of this project.

Training Art and photography to Anar Center instructors, and conducting a three months Art workshop resulting a Photography-Art Exhibition on march 28th at Afghan Cultural House, Teaching at Center For Contemporary Arts Afghanistan resulting another show and human right activities have all been a unique experience that have given me more confidence to study and be more creative in the field besides my art practice and artist talks via Farda,National TV, and Negah TV.

The World Bank Imagining Our Future Together went all well in Delhi, Dhaka and Washington and gave me a great opportunity to make great connections with art collectors, writers and critics, through that a writer is curating a show of my new works in USA and a curator in Italy. I am also showing at UNOCA Kabul later this month.
