First H.E H.B.Ghazanfar welcomed to all participants.

H.E Dr.Raheen briefly talked about SAF activities in Afghanistan, especially H.E Madanjeet Singh’s donation of One Million Dollars to the Institute in Kabul and SAF scholarships to Chennai-India and Lahore –Pakistan. He mentioned that South Asia foundation is interested to help and arrange the Afghanistan’s First Women Painting Exhibition in the big hall of Madanjeet Singh Cultural Heritage Institute in Kabul and H.E Dr.Raheen has already sent the informing letters about this program to Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Women Affairs.

This program will be financially supported by South Asia Foundation for the printing of Catalogue, Invitation letters, refreshment, Stationary & etc.

The Date for Exhibition has been finalized on 22nd March 2008 till 5th April .2008.

H.E Minister of Women Affairs will inaugurate the opening Ceremony.

Inviting of Women Artists from different provinces for the participation in Kabul exhibition. H.E Minister of Women Affairs agreed to provide accommodation for these artists in Kabul.

10 Women Paintings will be selected for Srinagar and New Delhi programs.

Selecting five Women Artists for participation in the Inauguration of the Institute of Kashmir, Sringar. The list of participants will be sent to you later.

Travel arrangement to New Delhi by SAF Secretary.

H.E Dr. Raheen designated a committee of four members that includes Mr.Massodi new SAF Chairman in Afghanistan, Mr.Rahraw Omarzad & Ms.Frozan Raufi SAF Secretary to work on expenses and preparation of the Exhibition in Kabul.

H.E. Dr.Raheen mentioned to SAF Secretary to send this meeting report to H.E Madanjeet Singh by email.

The SAF Advisory board of Afghanistan renewed and the list is attached.
