National Professor and SAF-Bangladesh, Vice Chairman Jamilur Reza Choudhury no more

A renowned Civil Engineer and Educationist, Dr Choudhury was the vice chancellor of University of Asia Pacific. He had been the president of Bangladesh Mathematical Olympiad Committee since 2003. In 2017, he was awarded Ekushey Padak by the Government of Bangladesh in the category of science and technology.....

Khan Touseef Osman delivered special lecture titled "Bangladeshi English Novel: Roots and Routes" at the University of Calcutta, tracing the history of Bangladeshi English literature from Begum Rokeya till today. His particular focus was on the growth of Bangladeshi English novel since the 1990s as a result of globalization as well as the change in the economic scene of Bangladesh.....
