The Governing Council meeting of the South Asia Foundation (SAF) was held on 5 December 2022 in Thimphu, Bhutan. Conducted in a hybrid mode, the meeting brought together heads of all SAF chapters and Directors of the Madanjeet Singh Institutes of Excellence, who presented detailed reports on their respective activities and achievements.

During the session, Madam France Marquet expressed her appreciation for the strong and growing network of SAF alumni, which now exceeds 750 members. She highlighted the remarkable work being done by alumni across diverse fields, reflecting the Foundation’s impact on regional cooperation and development.
The meeting also included discussions on various initiatives undertaken by the chapters over the past year, reaffirming SAF’s continued commitment to promoting education, cultural exchange, and regional harmony in South Asia.
