The First South Asia Foundation (SAF) – Maldivian Alumni Get-Together was held with great enthusiasm on 27 November 2025 at the Maagiri Hotel, Malé, marking a significant milestone in strengthening regional academic and professional cooperation. The event, which began at 11:30 AM.
A special module on “Post-war Realities of Ethnic Minorities in Sri Lanka” was conducted by Shabeer Mohamed, a young and insightful Sri Lankan journalist known for his in-depth reporting for the Sunday Observer
Mme France Marquet, Principal Trustee of the Madanjeet Singh Foundation (MSF) and SAF Representative at UNESCO, visited the UNESCO Madanjeet Singh Centre of South Asian Journalism (UMCSAJ). During the interaction, she held a meaningful meeting with Mr. Ram, President of MSF, and Mr. Sashi, Director of the Asian College of Journalism.
Film Screening - Asian College of Journalism organized a special screening of the film ‘Humans in the Loop’ presented by Storiculture, and written and directed by Aranya Sahay. The screening was followed by a discussion with the director who was present.
