Acknowledgement for the SAF Fellowship

I would like to thank South Asia Federation for awarding me this prestigious South Asian Fellowship to persue M.Tech in GET at PCU Pondicherry. I would also thank the Federation of South Asian Countries for giving me an opportunity to represent Bhutan at the world stage which would otherwise seem to be a very small country with limited opportunity for higher studies.

This fellowship has also provided with a never before opportunity to study the rarest course of M.Tech in Green Energy Technology at Pondicherry University. I feel that this fellowship award is a first kind of international award for the students like us form South Asian countries.

This is DayanidhiMohanta, the Indian scholar of prestigious SAF Fellowship (2010-2011) awarde for M.Tech (Green Energy Technology) programme at Pondicherry University, India. I am indebted to South Asia Federation for the award of the fellowship.

As per my knowledge, there are no other International Fellowships available for M.Tech students studying in India. In this respect I am very much privileged and feel honoured to be awarded with this Prestigious SAF Fellowships award. I would like to heartfully thank Madanjeet Singh Ji, the founder of the South Asia Federation (SAF) for providing me with this fellowship opportunity through SAF.

In addition I would like to state that, this Fellowship has helped me financially.

It is a morale booster and a constant source of inspiration for me to pursue my further academic achievements in the world perspective.

It provides an excellent opportunity to interact with other SAF Fellows from different South Asian Countries which would not have been possible under any national or institutional fellowships.

This Fellowship is a great motivation for the students like me to take up engineering as a career. Since presently in India scholarships for M.Tech are only institutional that are provided by the big institutes like the IITs, the NITs and Central Universities.
