The International Conference on Energy and Water for Sustainable Environment (ICEWSE 2025) was inaugurated at Pondicherry University, marking a major collaboration between the University’s Department of Green Energy Technology (UMSGET), the University of Moratuwa’s Centre for South Asia Water Management (UMCSAWM), and the South Asia Foundation under UNESCO.
The Department of Green Energy Technology (DGET) successfully held its first-ever online Alumni Meeting, coordinated by Prof. D. S. Sharada, Prof. Arun Prasath, Prof. Jaffar, bringing together alumni from across South Asia.
The Department of Green Energy Technology (DGET), Pondicherry University, is set to host its Alumni Meet 2025 in an online mode on 13th September 2025 (Saturday) at 5:00 PM. The programme will bring together alumni, faculty members, and students to celebrate the department’s achievements and strengthen the bond between the institution and its former students.
UNESCO Madanjeet Singh School of Green Energy and Technology(UMSGET), Pondicherry University, Puducherry, India and UNESCO Madanjeet Singh Centre for South Asia Water Management (UMCSAWM), Department of Civil Engineering, University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka are set to co-host the First International Conference on Energy and Water for Sustainable Environment (ICEWSE 2025) on 30 September and 01 October 2025. This landmark event aims to unite global experts, policymakers, and industry leaders to explore and advance innovative solutions in sustainable energy and water management.
