A generous contribution by SAF-Nepal Chairperson Dr. Rita Thapa to Nepal's flood victims

A generous contribution of Nepali Rupees One Lakh Forty Thousand was handed over today at a function in Kathmandu by SAF-Nepal Chairperson Dr. Rita Thapa (left) to Managing Director of Kantipur Publications Mr. Kailash Sirohiya (right) as assistance to Nepal's flood victims. These funds were donated by Founder of SAF UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Madanjeet Singh to support the new democratic government of Nepal for the rescue and rehabilitation of thousands of victims of floods that has ravaged eastern Nepal's terai districts.

Thanking for the kind contribution, Managing Director Sirohiya said these donations would be handed over to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund in a few days. Also on the occasion, Secretary of SAF-Nepal Nishchal N. Pandey donated on his personal capacity NRs. seven thousand for the same purpose.
