In a significant academic gesture, the Department of Peace and Conflict Studies at Tribhuvan University received a copy of Ambassador Madanjeet Singh’s renowned book Culture of the Sepulcher by Dr. Nischal Nath Pandey, Chairperson SAF-Nepal & Trustee MSF. The book was formally handed over to MPhil students, marking an enriching addition to the department’s academic resources.
Ambassador Singh, a distinguished diplomat, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, and founder of the South Asia Foundation (SAF), was celebrated for his lifelong commitment to cultural preservation, peace, and regional cooperation. His work Culture of the Sepulcher offered deep insights into heritage, identity, and the role of culture in shaping peace-building narratives.
Faculty members and students welcomed the contribution, emphasizing that the book would serve as a valuable reference for advanced research and discourse in peace and conflict studies.
