From Journalism to Governance Pratibha Rawal Takes Charge as Nepal’s Federal Affairs Minister

In a remarkable journey from media to national leadership, Pratibha Rawal, an alumna of Asian College of Journalism, has been appointed as Nepal’s Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration in the newly formed cabinet.

A proud Alumna of UNESCO Madanjeet Singh Centre of South Asian Journalism (UMCSAJ) of the 2014–2015 batch, Rawal’s transition from journalism to politics reflects her deep-rooted understanding of governance, public policy, and socio-political dynamics. She brings with her years of experience in journalism, having worked with reputed platforms like Republica Daily and South Asia Check.
