Ms. Bidhya Neupane, SAF Scholar (Batch ) Sharing her Experience at UMISARC, Pondicherry University

Dear Nishchal Sir,

I trust this email finds you well. As I reflect upon my SAF scholarship journey, I am compelled to express my deepest gratitude to you and the entire SAF community. When I applied for the SAF scholarship in 2019, my primary goal was to ease the financial burden on my parents, who, as farmers, struggle to make ends meet. Little did I know that SAF would become a cornerstone in my academic and personal development.

The past four years have been transformative, and SAF has played a pivotal role in shaping my educational experience. My parents, relying on farming as their main source of income, consistently express their gratitude for the support SAF has provided. Even my grandparents, in their wisdom, consider SAF a true blessing, and I wholeheartedly agree with them.

Beyond scholarship, SAF has connected me with a network of academically and professionally accomplished alumni. Being inspired by their achievements has been instrumental in broadening my academic horizons. Participating in various events and programs facilitated by SAF has allowed me to learn and grow in ways I hadn't imagined.

On December 13th, I proudly graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Development Studies from the UNESCO Madanjeet Singh Center for South Asian Studies and Regional Cooperation at Kathmandu University, Nepal. What's more, on December 16th, I was honored with the gold medal for being the batch topper, achieving a CGPA of 3.8 out of 4. These achievements, undoubtedly, would not have been possible without the support of SAF.

I want to extend my sincere appreciation to you, Nishchal Sir, for believing in me and being a guiding force throughout this journey. This is just the beginning, and I am committed to keeping you informed of all my future endeavors, both successes and challenges. Your mentorship has been invaluable, and I have learned immensely from your wisdom.

I kindly request you to convey my heartfelt thanks to Madame France Marquet for her continuous support in realizing my dreams. I am determined to make you and SAF proud, and I carry with me the lessons and encouragement you've provided.

As I step into this new chapter as an SAF alum, I am filled with a sense of accomplishment and nostalgia. I have attached some photos from my convocation and graduation for your reference.
Once again, thank you for everything. I look forward to staying connected and making the SAF community proud.

With gratitude,

Bidhya Neupane
