Atlas of Elsewhere

Atlas of Everywhere was an exhibition held at Beaconhouse National University at the Mariam Dawood School of Visual Arts and Design

(MD-SVAD) on the occasion of the investiture ceremony for the UNESCO Chair on Inclusion through Art.

Curated by Prof. Risham Syed and Aarish Sardar, with co-curation by Waleed Zafar and curatorial advisory from Chairholder Prof. Rashid Rana, the exhibition explored a dynamic dialogue between the tangible and the infinite in our ever-evolving

contemporary world. In a world where boundaries dissolve and new realities converge, The Atlas of Elsewhere invited viewers to explore this dialogue. The exhibition was a distinctive exhibition exploring the intersections of art, polymathy, and innovation.

Mind Bind - Rethinking Reality at School of Tomorrow (SOT)
Kasim Kasuri, Chair of SOT Events, and Prof. Rashid Rana, Dean of BNU–MD SVAD, hosted Mind Bind – Rethinking Reality, an immersive art experience held at the Royal Grand Hall, Faletti’s Hotel, Lahore. Curated by Prof. and Dean Rashid Rana, Prof. Risham Syed, and Waleed Zafar, the exhibition brought together 36 creative projects developed under the UNESCO Chair on Inclusion through Art.

In its curatorial framing, Mind Bind reimagined the boundaries between human thought and technological entanglement, examining how creative technologies are transforming learning, art-making, and the very notion of authorship. It interrogated how rapidly shifting technological landscapes are reshaping originality, knowledge, responsibility, and equity.

The exhibition opened on Saturday, 29 November 2025, at 12:30 PM and continued over the weekend, welcoming visitors from across the city. Through interactive installations, data visualizations, and immersive environments, participating creative practitioners explored the evolving interplay between human cognition and technological intelligence.
