UNESCO Chair and UMSGET to Host Technical Workshop on Additive Manufacturing for Sustainability at Pondicherry University

A one-day technical workshop titled "Role of Additive Manufacturing Applications Towards Sustainability" is scheduled for 8th August 2025 under the UNESCO Chair activity of Green Energy Technology at UMSGET,  Pondicherry University. The event is organized in collaboration with the National Centre for Additive Manufacturing (NCAM) and supported by the UNESCO Madanjeet Singh School of Green Energy Technology (UMSGET).

The workshop will be held at the Cultural Cum Convention Centre, Pondicherry University from 9 AM to 5 PM, with no registration fee. The event brings together researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and students to explore the critical role of additive manufacturing—commonly known as 3D printing—in promoting sustainable and environmentally responsible industrial practices.
