Shrine Empire invites audiences to an evocative walkthrough with artist Hema Shironi as she presents her solo exhibition, “Homes Wrapped in Cloth, Borders Raised in Flags.”
The walkthrough will take place on 19 September 2025, from 5 PM to 6 PM, at the CCA, Bikaner House, New Delhi. Through her textile-based practice, Shironi explores themes of migration, displacement, and the fragile yet powerful symbolism of national identity, weaving together personal memory and collective history.
The exhibition will be on view from 14 – 25 September 2025, 11 AM – 7 PM, offering visitors a chance to immerse themselves in her thoughtful interrogation of home, belonging, and borders.New Delhi, September 2025:
Shrine Empire presents “After-Aphantasias,” a compelling group exhibition that brings together some of South Asia’s most thought-provoking contemporary artists.
The exhibition features works by Anoli Perera, Jagath Weerasinghe, Muhanned Cader, Chandragupta Thenuwara, Kingsley Gunatillake, and Pala Pothupitiye, each engaging with layered narratives of memory, erasure, imagination, and nationhood.
A walkthrough of the exhibition will be led by Anahita Taneja and Shefali Somani, Directors of Shrine Empire, on 19 September 2025, from 5 PM to 6 PM, at CCA, Bikaner House, New Delhi.
