BNU x LDF: Women Vs Machines Exhibition | April 11 - April 16

Women vs. Machines opened on April 11, 2025, at Beaconhouse National University, as a spotlight event of the third edition of the Lahore Digital Arts Festival. The exhibition was a joint initiative of the Embassy of France in Pakistan, the Alliance Française de Lahore, the Lahore Digital Festival (LDF), and the “UNESCO Chair on Inclusion through Art” under Chairholder Rashid Rana. In collaboration with the UNESCO Chair Project on Inclusion through Art, under chairholder Rashid Rana, the exhibition was produced by Najam Ul-Assar, and curated by Sarah Rajper, Rohma Khan, and Fatima Butt.

Women vs. Machines explored the intersection of gender, technology, and sports. Five women sports personalities, who had challenged stereotypes in their respective fields, collaborated with five digital artists in an exhibition that aimed to spark meaningful conversations about access, representation, mobility, and empowerment through art and technology.

The exhibition was held at the Mariam Dawood School of Visual Arts and Design (MDSVAD) and ran until April 16, 2025, with daily visiting hours from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
