Pondicherry University to Host National-Level Exhibition on Sustainable Technologies Under UNESCO Chair

Pondicherry University, through its Department of Green Energy Technology, is set to organize the National Level Competitive Exhibition on Sustainable Technologies (NLCEST–2026) on April 16, 2026, under the prestigious UNESCO Chair activity. This national-level competition and exhibition is being held to commemorate the 102nd Birth Anniversary of Shri Madanjeet Singh, a legendary peacebuilder, visionary founder of the Madanjeet School of Green Energy Technologies (UMSGET), and a global advocate of sustainability and harmony.

The exhibition will serve as a dynamic platform bringing together students, researchers, and innovators from across the country to present cutting-edge projects and innovative ideas focused on sustainable technologies. In addition, industry partners and sponsors will showcase advanced technologies and eco-friendly products, fostering meaningful interaction between academia, research, and industry.

NLCEST–2026 aims to inspire young minds, promote sustainable innovation, and strengthen India’s commitment to green energy solutions, while honoring the enduring legacy of Shri Madanjeet Singh in advancing peace, sustainability, and inclusive development.
