SAF invites 16 Fully Sponsored SAARC Fellowships Open for M.Tech in Green Energy at UMSGET, Pondicherry University

Pondicherry University, through the UNESCO Madanjeet School of Green Energy Technologies (UMSGET), invites nominations for 16 fully funded scholarships (two candidates from each SAARC country) for admission to its two-year full-time M.Tech in Green Energy Technology programme for the academic year 2026–27.

Funded by Madanjeet Singh Foundation, coordinated and monitored by the South Asia Foundation India (SAF-India ), the scholarship offers comprehensive financial support, including tuition fees, hostel accommodation, medical insurance, an annual contingency grant of ₹10,000, and a monthly stipend of ₹12,500.

The programme is designed for graduates in Engineering and Science disciplines, including Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Civil, Chemical, Environmental, Biotechnology, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Nanoscience and related fields, with a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent qualification as per university norms).

Nominations are to be submitted through respective SAF Chapters (Click here to get contact details ), ensuring merit-based selection with due emphasis on gender balance. The last date for submission of nominations is 20 April 2026
