Women vs. Machines opened on April 11, 2025, at Beaconhouse National University, as a spotlight event of the third edition of the Lahore Digital Arts Festival. Professor Salima Hashmi—renowned artist, educator, and curator—is the Director of the UNESCO Madanjeet Singh Institute of South Asian Arts (UMISAA) at Beaconhouse National University and Chairperson of SAF-Pakistan. As co-curator of the exhibition alongside Manmeet K. Walia, she delivered the keynote address at the launch of this landmark show, which features the work of 26 emerging artists from across South Asia. The exhibition is presented by the Ravi Jain Memorial Foundation with the support of Dhoomimal Gallery, New Delhi.
