The event was held at the Cultural-Cum-Convention Centre, Pondicherry University.
he UNESCO Madanjeet School of Green Energy Technologies (UMSGET) at Pondicherry University is set to host the prestigious National Workshop on Advances in Nuclear Energy for Sustainable Environment (NWANESE-2025) on 25th July 2025 (tentative), at the University’s Cultural-Cum-Convention Centre. This vital academic event, in collaboration with the Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR), Kalpakkam, will bring together some of the nation’s finest minds in nuclear energy and sustainable development.
UMISAA, Beaconhouse National University (BNU), under the visionary leadership of Prof. Rashid Rana, Chairholder of the UNESCO Chair on Inclusion through Art, hosted a grand launch ceremony for IEDAs – A Journal of Transdisciplinary Practices in Art & Design.
The conference was organized under the UNESCO Chair on Renewable and Clean Energy for Sustainable Development, an initiative sponsored by the Madanjeet Singh Foundation. The UNESCO Chair aims to foster research and innovation in renewable energy solutions to address global sustainability challenges.

The event celebrated the power of art in fostering inclusion, a vision deeply embodied in Jain’s residency at the School of Visual Arts & Design (UMISAA), where she explored the intertwined histories of India and Pakistan through Lahore’s rich commercial printing heritage.
