Madam France Marquet, Trustee of the Madanjeet Singh Foundation, participated in the UNESCO Master Class against Racism and Discrimination held on 6 May 2025 at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris. The event took place in Room I from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM (CET) and was conducted in a hybrid format

Organized by UNESCO’s Social and Human Sciences Sector, this prestigious Master Class brought together a diverse range of voices to address the ongoing global challenge of racism and discrimination. Highlights of the programme included a keynote lecture by renowned journalist and historian Xavier Mauduit, and a compelling fireside chat with acclaimed actor Seydou Sarr.

A dynamic roundtable discussion followed, featuring influential content creators and thought leaders such as Kiné Ndoye, Gilbert Nana, Imad Skhairi, and Mr Thank You, who shared their perspectives on shaping inclusive narratives in digital and public spaces.

The event concluded with the screening of the critically acclaimed film Io Capitano, a cinematic work that has earned international recognition for its powerful portrayal of migration and human resilience.
